Exports multiple After Effects Compositions which are configured as Essential Graphics with one click as Mogrt's including a proper preview video, preview image and tags.
Features Version 3.0
- More use of native features available in AE Version 25+ like:
- Set Poster Time from native Essential Graphics panel
- Can use Name set in Essential Graphics panel
- Can use native Include Video Preview from Essential Graphics Export Dialog
- Set global tags for all exported mogrts
- Individual tags for each composition/mogrt can be set via composition comment
- Legacy video preview and thumbnail generation still available but should not be needed in recent versions of After Effects.
- Optional export log for easier bugfixing for me
- Better error handling
- Fixed some nasty timing bugs on slower machines and with larger comps.
It takes the work out of manually exporting each individual composition with several clicks. This script is inspired by Premier Gal who explains the manual tedious process in this video. This script automates these steps for you.
Just select multiple compositions in the project panel and run the AE Mogrt Batch Exporter, click Export, select the destination folder, and click OK - that's it. The AE Mogrt Batch Exporter exports all your Essential Graphics in After Effects to mogrts with one click.
In this video I explain the old version (v2 not v3), but there you see the installation and how it works in general.
In an ideal world, this plugin is not needed and After Effects can simply export multiple Essential Graphics Templates (MOGRTs) itself, but we are not there yet. The native export is getting better that's also why I marked some of the v2 features as legacy as these features are now covered by After Effects itself and doesn't need to be activated in the plugin.
So I suggest that you are setting your preferred settings in the Essential Graphics Panel first before exporting with the plugin, because most of the settings are used by the plugin for the export. No need for the legacy options in After Effects Version 25+
You'll get the *TRIAL* Version of AE Mogrt Batch Exporter Script for Adobe After Effects.
